Peter Paulsen Woehlke (Pete), 75 of Raleigh passed away on September 23, 2021. He was the son of L. Paul Woehlke and Miriam Woehlke. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul Woehlke and late wife Stephanie Aleskowitch Woehlke. He is survived by his children, Melissa Venable (Mike), Paul Woehlke (Kate Hardin), Lee Woehlke (Skyler Spaulding) and stepdaughter Jo Ellen McKee (Jon). Also surviving are the mother of his children, Terry Natterer, Sister-in-Law Genoveva Woehlke and nephew Kirk Woehlke.

Following high school Pete joined the US Air Force and served our country from (1963-1967) in the Vietnam War. He was a proud veteran. He spent his career in customer service with various companies, his favorite being Eastern Airlines. He loved to help people and never met a stranger. He enjoyed walks, English Bulldogs, chicken wings, and was a die-hard fan of the  NY Giants and the NY Mets.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 2pm. The service will be held in the Whispering Waters Garden at the Montlawn Cemetery. The family requests that those in attendance please wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) or charity of your choice that supports our troops.
