Obituary

BENSON

Philip Alan Mann went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ peacefully at his home in Benson, NC.  He was a loving brother,  father, and grandfather.

Philip was a Raleigh native and one of seven siblings born to William Stanly Mann and Inez "Chubby" Mann. He was a caring man who was a firefighter at Swift Creek Fire Department and a food broker in the grocery industry.  He enjoyed activities such as softball, golf, hunting, fishing, and was an accomplished collegiate wrestler.

Mr. Mann is preceded in death by his parents Bill, Inez, and family members Bo Braswell and Moose Mann.  He is survived by his son Wiley Adam Mann, grandchildren Ethan and Riley Mann, his siblings Rachel Jordan (Cliff), Billy (June), Charles (Becky), Gerald (Debbie), Kenneth (Brenda), David (Cindy), and their families.
A private family funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 26th, 2020 at 2 o'clock PM at Montlawn Funeral Home 2911 S. Wilmington Street Raleigh, NC 27603
A Celebration of Life open to all will be held at a date to be determined.  Those in attendance are requested to use discretion with social distancing guidelines and Covid 19 precautions.
We pray for the health and mourning of ALL friends and family during this difficult time.
