Phyllis Parker Cole, age 74 of Raleigh, passed away Tuesday, May 27th, 2025. Phyllis was born in Johnston County to the late Chesadee Parker and Edith Price on October 25th, 1950. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James Kenneth Cole. Sr., son James Kenneth Cole Jr., wife Allisha, grandaughter Mary Katherine Cole, sister Sandra Delaney, and brothers RB Parker, and Jerry Parker. She was a dedicated, hard working, and loyal administrative assistant at DOT for 20 years.  After her retirement she gave another 10 years to the State. Phyllis was kind and giving to all of those she loved. She cared for others more than herself; a true example of what we should all aim to be. She loved camping, her kitties, and being a wife, mom and grandma. A graveside service will be held at Montlawn Funeral Home located at 2911 S. Wilmington St. in Raleigh, NC.
