Obituary of Polly Burton

Polly Pamela Burton, 58, died Sunday at William Dunlap Hospice Center. She was a loving wife and mother and was a devoted executive assistant for over 38 years.

Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Raymond Walter Burton, Jr.; daughter, Ruth Downs and husband Aaron and grandson, Gabe of Laurel, MD; parents, Kenneth and Barbara Allen of Willow Springs; brothers, Michael and Benjamin Allen of Willow Springs and Daniel Allen of Youngsville; sisters, Robyn Marshburn of Morrisville and Margaret Stephens of Duncan; father-in-law, Raymond Burton of Laurel, MD and sister-in-law, Patricia Burton of Laurel, MD.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Wednesday at Montlawn Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Howell, Pastor of Athens Drive Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9 pm Tuesday.
