Obituary of Priscilla Smith
Priscilla Tingen Smith, 73, of New Hill, passed away peacefully in her sleep Wednesday afternoon, January 25, 2012 after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
A native of Raleigh, Priscilla was born May 28, 1938, the daughter of the late Earl and Nancy Chapin Tingen.
Priscilla is survived by her sister, Margaret White and her husband Ralph of Fayetteville; brother, David Tingen and his wife Judy of Raleigh; her best friend of over 50 years, Mary Russell of Cary; nieces, Mandy Hall and her husband J.R. of Kenly; Carey Ann Jones, her husband Rodney and their daughter Ava of Raleigh; nephews, Joshua Tingen of Zebulon and Michael Johnson of Raleigh.
At Priscilla's request, there will be no visitation or services.
