Ray C. Scott, 69, died peacefully at his home on Friday, November 11, 2016. Mr. Scott retired from American Airlines in 2013, after a rewarding career of 37 years. He was an active leader in Pack 253 of Boy Scouts of America for many years.
Ray is survived by his wife, Brenda Reed Scott and two sons Anthony Scott and Tyler Scott.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Watts Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Raleigh.
The family will receive friends at Montlawn Funeral Home from 6-8 pm on Friday, November 18, 2016.
