Raymond Lawson, 71, went to heaven on March 6, 2021 to be with his lord and savior.

Mr. Lawson was born in Sauratown NC on October 8, 1949. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Leeonie, and his beautiful daughter Patricia Humphries.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife Brenda to whom he was married for 53 years. He is survived by his daughter Vicky Thrower and her husband Jimmy. Carrying on his legacy is also his brother Jerry Bullins. He will live on through the lives of his grandchildren Monica, Zach, Kayla, and Cheyann. As well as through his great grandchild Brianna Belanovich and Trey Goss.

Raymond loved each and everyone of his family members, and to honor this love they all promise to keep his memory alive by sharing stories or moments of remembrance with one another.

He was treasured by numerous friends whom he worked, laughed and confided in over the years. Some he will see in heaven, but those who remain will certainly miss him very much.

Throughout his lifetime Raymond was very family oriented and was always a caretaker for his family. He worked in insulation for over 15 years.

A chapel service officiated by Pastor Tommy Futrell will be held at 12:00 pm on March 13, 2021 at Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. A visitation will take place at 11:00 am prior to the chapel service. Social distancing and face masks required.
