Obituary of Rebecca Winesett

Rebecca James Winesett, 79, of Raleigh, passed away Friday evening, February 15, 2013 at Hospice of Wake County.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Montlawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 1-2:00 p.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home prior to the service.

Born July 10, 1933, Rebecca was the daughter of the late Parsley O'Berry James and Ida Harris James. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ralph Edwin Winesett, Sr. and her sister, Colleen Sasser.

She is survived by her son, Ralph Edwin Winesett, Jr.; a daughter, Vicki Lynne Widner and husband Todd; granddaughter, Chae Cates; sister-in-law, Lois Winesett; step-sisters, Louise McCoy and Joyce Lamb; nieces, Jean Crowle and Gail Sasser; nephews, Alan and Phil Woodard.

The family request that donations be made in memory of Rebecca to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC, 27607.
