Obituary of Richard Frey
On January 2, 2016, Richard Frey, the sweet evangelist who loved to share about salvation to everyone and the wonder of all that he was learning in the Word of God, left this world unexpectedly after a brief illness to spend eternity with his beloved Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He enjoyed gardening and painting watercolors and was a member of the Arts League of Garner.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Roberta; his daughter Sandra Wood; his sons and their wives Richard and Robin Frey and Darrin and Cindy Frey; his three grandchildren, David Wood, Dawn Boyd and her husband Paul, and Bill Monday and his wife Meredith, and three (and a half) great-grandchildren; his brother Robert Frey and his sister Vivian Gaynor.
He was preceded in death by his brother Victor Frey and his sister Doris Sena.
A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, January 8, 2016 at Highland Baptist Church, 8524 Crowder Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.
A Graveside Service will be held 3:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016 in Whispering Waters at Montlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Highland Baptist Church - Building Fund, 8524 Crowder Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.
