Robbie Carroll, 76, of Raleigh went home to the Lord on Monday, August 6, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judy Carroll; two sons Tim (Karen) Carroll and Jimmy (Beverly) Carroll; grandchildren Tyler (Krysteah) Carroll, Austin Carroll and Ashley Carroll; brothers O.H. (Edna) Carroll of Sevierville, Tennessee and William (Melinda) Fleming of Wilmington, NC.

Robbie, a lifelong resident of North Carolina, received his Masters degree in Criminal Justice from Northwestern University. He was a Major with the Raleigh Police Department where he served and protected for 27 years. He also proudly served in the US Marines, and holds a black belt in karate. He gave back to his community and enjoyed his mission work through Journey Church.

Robbie is predeceased by his parents Lucille and O. Haywood Carroll and a brother, Jerry Carroll.
Services will be held at Journey Church, 3500 Spring Forest Rd, Raleigh. Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 9 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM with the funeral service also at Journey, Friday, Aug. 10 at 1:00 PM.
