Obituary of Robert Carr

Robert Lee Carr, 69, of Raleigh, passed away Monday evening, April 23, 2012.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.

A native of Wake County, Robert was born September 6, 1942, the son of the late Joseph and Aleece Carrington Carr. He had worked as a bartender at North Ridge Country Club as well as owning Logo Tours.

Robert is survived by his sons, Robert L. Carr, Jr. and his wife Betty of Wendell, Christopher Carr of Raleigh; daughter, Lisa Squirewell and her husband Amos of Knightdale; grandchildren, Tori, Marcus, Aaron and Danielle; his former spouse, Ella Carr; brothers, Ronald Carr and Joseph Carr, Jr.; sisters, Sylvia Carr and Joyce Carr.
