Obituary of Robert Fish

Robert "Bob" Almond Fish, 84 of Fuquay-Varina, passed away, Friday morning, August 29, 2014 at Transitions LifeCare.

Born in Harnett Co., NC, he was the son of the late Alex Nathan Fish and Ima Denning. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Nona Fish.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Melody Whitford and son-in-law Gil; granddaughter, Annabelle Whitford; a special brother, Dural Lee Fish and wife Goldie; sister, Charlotte Sauls.

Bob graduated from Coats High School and worked in manufacturing and construction. He was a past master of the Garner Masonic Lodge and a very active member of Amran Shrine. Bob also enjoyed attending Aversboro Road Baptist Church Sunday School.

A Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home prior to the service.
