GARNER

Garner, North Carolina - Robert William Hausen (Bobby), 61, went home to meet his Lord and Savior on Wednesday March 31, 2021. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lavonne Hausen. He is survived by his wife, Kim Hausen; his sister, Holly Thurmann; three children, Robert Hausen Jr., Christine Cross, and Heather Peri, and their spouses, April Hausen, Samuel Cross, and Pat Peri. His six grandchildren include Robert Hausen III, Maksim, Bodie, Quinn, Jack, and Hazel.

Bobby was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois.  He graduated from Lane Technical High School in 1978. He was a proud member of the United States Army. In 1982 Bobby earned his Jump Wings at Fort Benning Jump School and went on to serve in the 82nd Airborne Division. After his time in the Army, Bobby worked as an electrician and general contractor. He devoted his life to serving the Lord, his family, and his community. He enjoyed fishing, science fiction, and spending time with his family. Bobby's sense of humor and fun-loving outlook on life will be forever cherished and missed by all who had the honor of crossing his path.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Montlawn Funeral Home and Cremations, 2911 S. Wilmington St. Raleigh NC 27603. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm on April 6, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1433 Aversboro Rd., Garner, NC 27529. Condolences may be made to the family at Montlawn.com
