Obituary of Robert Henderson

Robert "Glenn" Henderson, Sr., 68, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, March 23, 2013. He was a retired long distance truck driver and was the foreman at Tobacco Growers in Fuquay Varina.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Temple of Pentecost 2312 Lake Wheeler Road, Raleigh, NC 27603, where he was a member. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

Surviving are his wife of over 47 years, Marion M. Henderson; daughter, Lawanna H. Pitner and husband, Gregory of Chalybeate Springs; son Robert Henderson, Jr. and wife Alicia of Edcouch, TX; sister, Judy Oberbauer and husband Ludwig of Benson; six grandchildren, Brittany, Joseph, Cody, Mae, Tomas and Alyssa.

He was preceded in death by his father, Odell P. Henderson, mother, Mae B. Henderson and brothers, Bruce Henderson and Larry Henderson.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Friday, March 29, 2013 at Montlawn Funeral Home.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Temple of Pentecost.
