Robert B. Honeycutt, Sr., 87 died Monday, December 11, 2017 at his home in Raleigh, NC due to congestive heart failure. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marie Whittington Honeycutt; Daughter Susan Leggett (John) of Cary; Sons, Banks Honeycutt (Stephanie) of Garner, Barry Honeycutt (Sandy) of Fuquay Varina and Brooks Honeycutt (Mark Niehaus) of Philadelphia, PA; Two Grand-daughters, Jennifer Leggett Papp (James) of Cary and Jessica Honeycutt Williams (Jay) of Raleigh; Five Great-grandchildren, Alex and Lily Papp, Colton, Harrison and Beckett Williams; Brother Jimmy Honeycutt (Lena) of Grand Rapids, Michigan and sister-in-law Gerri Honeycutt of Coats; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Artemus and Lessie Honeycutt, Sister Celia Wooten (Jesse); Brothers, Leon Honeycutt (Ann Margaret) and Rupert Honeycutt.

Mr. Honeycutt was owner of A-Z plumbing and was a loyal member of United Church of God.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 14th at Montlawn Funeral Home at 12:30. The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 12:30 at the funeral home.
