IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bob"
Lee Strother
May 29, 1934 – November 6, 2019
Bob Strother was the quintessential Southern Gentleman. He honored "the finer things" in life not because of any economic value but because of their inherent beauty and grace. He was a creative genius who early in life discerned his calling to be floral design. These he fashioned with an artistry born of his creative mind and hands. His customers were his friends and he honored them with creations crafted with exquisite care and joy.
He was passionate and persistent as he cultivated floral creations, homes, and gardens… never succumbing to mere expediency. He valued the beauty and grace of nature and shared his love of the world's botanical marvels with others. Most of all, he valued his family. He was truly a uniquely wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He and his beloved Lois created a family from a foundation of love, respect, and integrity. As he crafted beauty from flowers, he inspired his children with his devotion for Christ's teachings, love for others and an appreciation for a quest larger than themselves. He and Lois sent out their children into the world armed with respect and compassion for others as well as a deep gratitude for life. Their generosity of spirit is Bob's most indelible legacy to the world.
