Obituary of Robert Moore

Robert "Bob" Leo Moore, 74 of Garner, passed away, Sunday morning, March 8, 2015 at the VA Hospice in Durham.

Born in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of the late Grover and Hilma Moore.

Bob is survived by his wife, Betsy Jean Moore of 53 years, Barbara (Carl) Williams, Lynn Frisby, and 3 grandchildren.

Bob served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War where he served his time in Ground Troops. Bob then enlisted into the Army Reserve where he retired. Bob was a life-time member of the VFW Post #10225 of Garner, NC.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bob's name to any veteran's charity of choice.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Montlawn Memorial Park. Bob will receive full military honors at the graveside.

The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 p.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home prior to the service.
