Obituary of Robert Reagan
Robert "Bill" William Reagan, Sr.
Mr. Robert "Bill" William Reagan, Sr., 70, of Garner, formerly of Wilmington, NC, died April 9, 2009.
A native of Davidson County, Bill was born August 14, 1938, to the late Robert Shorter and Iris Haynes Reagan. Bill was employed by Starr Electric of Raleigh and recently was awarded the Master Craftsman of the Year for North and South Carolina, which was one of his proudest accomplishments.
He loved and always spoke highly of his coworkers and apprentices. Most of all he loved his family.
Bill is survived by his wife Annie Virginia Davis Reagan, of Garner; sons Robert William Reagan, Jr. and wife Tammy, of Chapel Hill, Russell Steven Reagan and wife Karen, of Hallsboro, Timothy Brian Reagan and wife Tammy, of Lawrenceville, GA, and Jonathan Lee Reagan, of Garner; grandchildren Taylor, Will, Grace, Steven, Connor, Amanda, Ashlyn, Garrett, and Noah; brother Ronald Reagan; and sister Margaret Hepler. He was preceded in death by a sister Ruth Crowell.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 13, 2009, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home. A memorial service, officiated by Reverend Arnold Griffith of Fellowship Baptist Church in Wilmington, where Bill was a faithful parishioner, will be held on Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel.
