Obituary of Robert Scheel
Robert Clark Scheel, 85, died December 5, 2015 at Rex Rehab. & Nursing Care Center. He was born in New Brighton, PA to John H. Scheel and Viola Leiper Scheel. Robert was a US Army veteran where he served as Staff Sgt. during the Korean Conflict. He was a Master Mason in the Masonic Lodge and was a retired watchmaker.
Surviving are his daughter, Lynda Scheel Hicks and husband, Trent; son, Clyde Emery Scheel and wife, Tracey; grandchildren, Wendy Manner and husband Eric, Carey Jaquez and husband Kyle, and Sarah Scheel; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Manner, Cora Manner and Eliza Jaquez; sister, Eleanor Barnes.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Burkhart Scheel on August 22, 2011.
A graveside service will be held 11 am Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Montlawn Memorial Park.
