RALEIGH

Robert M. Schumann,79, passed away on Saturday afternoon, September 18, 2021 at his home in Raleigh, NC. Robert, known as Bob to family and friends, was born June 6, 1942 to Minnie Snow Schumann and Leo I. Schumann. He was a retired salesman with Orkin. Bob enjoyed painting, playing guitar, gardening, physical fitness, breeding and showing collies, and NFL football. Bob was loved as a husband, father, brother, and friend; he will be deeply missed.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Wanda Wilder Schumann; sons, Matthew Schumann and wife Rosa, Jared Schumann; daughters, Jenna Doyle and Cyndi Graf; grandchildren, Steven, Lindsay, Scott, Jennifer, Sandra, Kevin, Brandon and Emilia; great-grandchildren, Ava, Philip, and Paityn; brothers, Steve and Paul. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alan.

Funeral services will be held  Wednesday, September 22nd at noon at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 11am, one hour prior to service.
