Robert Greene Wiggs, 69, of Garner, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 28, 2022. He was born August 27, 1952 in Nash County, a son of the late Spencer A. and Sadie (Lambert) Wiggs. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Willie Wiggs, and a granddaughter Alissa Chenette.

Robert was an avid NASCAR fan. He worked for many years for Wyatt-Quarrels Seed Company.

Robert is survived by his wife of 52 years on August 1st, Cathy (Carter) Wiggs of Garner, his children: Robert G. Wiggs, JR, and his wife Michelle of Garner, Vicki Jones, and her husband, Dennis, of Benson, and Jenny Garcia, and her husband Tino, of Jacksonville;  11 grandchildren: Michael, Brittney, Alex, Jayden, Kayla, Cody, Makayla, Zoe, Olivia, Darian and Hayden; one great grandson, Tucker, and his two brothers: Johnny and Jimmy Wiggs.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Montlawn Funeral Home followed by a service in the chapel at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Keith Wagner Officiating. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
