Obituary of Ronald Craighead

Ronald Lee Craighead, 60, of Cary, died Tuesday afternoon, March 20, 2012 at his home.

A celebration of his life will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Edgehill Farms Clubhouse, 329 Springfork Drive, Cary, NC 27513.

A native of Christiansburg, Virginia, Ron was born June 16, 1951, the son of the late Calvin Craighead and Phyllis Whitlock Craighead who survives him. Ron served in the United States Army and the Army Reserve for 19 years and was an information technology analyst with the Defense Intelligence Agency and served as a pharmacy technician at the Pentagon. For the past ten years, Ron was an IT analyst with Rex Healthcare.

Ron is survived by his wife, Theresa Adams Craighead; daughters, Jessica Stone of Farmington Hills, MI, Jennifer Craighead of Wilkesboro; his mother, Phyllis, of North Wilkesboro; step sons, Ryan Barclay and Trevor Barclay, both of Cary; brother, Gordon Craighead and his wife Diane of Summerfield; mother in-law, Bobbie Delane Adams; father in-law, Thomas Franklin Adams, Jr., both of Raleigh; brothers in-law, John Adams and Bill Adams, both of Raleigh and his nephew, Chad Craighead.
