Ronald Edward Jones passed away June 9, 2026. He was born in Raleigh, NC, on July 12, 1945. Mr. Jones was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Inez (Gooch) Jones, and his brother, Charles Jr.

A proud graduate of Broughton High School and Navy veteran, Mr. Jones worked for Mackey Communications for many years. He was a graduate of Campbell University.

He is survived by his nephew, Chris and Amy Jones, of Four Oaks, NC, as well as cousins and friends from Mackey Communications and Brookdale North Raleigh.

A visitation will be held June 24, 2026, at Montlawn Funeral Home, 2911 S. Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603. Visitation begins at 12:30 followed by a service at 1pm and graveside at 2pm.
