Ronald Rhodes passed away peacefully at his home, he was born in Wake Co. North Carolina to L.J. (Bud) Rhodes and Novelle Rhodes Pollard. Ronald learned at an early age the value of hard work. This was one of the many values that his father instilled in him. Ronald served in the U.S. Army for three years. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He later became a brick, block and stone layer.

Ronald enjoyed many sports, golfing, fishing and watching Nascar racing. He spent a lot of time watching his sons play sports. Ronald retired from the Raleigh Fire Department as Captain. He went on to do stack testing but had to leave due to his health.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Novelle Rhodes and his sister Yvonne Rhodes. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Moss Rhodes, daughter Monica Rhodes Hamilton (Marc)  two sons Ronald Chad Rhodes and Brandon Rhodes, three grand children  Morgan Hamilton Bowman (Eric) Lauren Hamilton and Blake Hamilton, one great grandson Ryder Bowman, one brother Leonard Rhodes , a loving and caring extended family (Moss Family) and many many close friends.

His legacy was to be remembered as a loving and caring husband, daddy, grandfather and great grandfather.
