Obituary of Ronnie Finch

Ronnie Ricardo "Jim" Finch, 53, of Raleigh, died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at Duke University Medical Center.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 4057 US Hwy 70 West, Clayton with a Wake from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 2828 Sourwood Street, Raleigh.

A native of Johnston County, Ronnie retired as the recreation coordinator at Central Prison. He was a referee with Horton Officiating Productions and was the co-owner of Jani-King, Finch Enterprises. Ronnie proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Finch and a sister, Wanda Sinclair.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Wanda Hagins Finch; daughters, Ronshawna Finch and Jasmine Finch; sons, Robert Hagins and Rontitus Morgan; his mother, Lillie Sanders Finch Johnson and his step-father, Charles Johnson; sisters, Stephanie Theet and Marcia Stancil and brothers, William Finch, Jr. and Calvin Finch.
