Ronnie W. Smith, 78, of Wendell, passed away in Raleigh on Saturday, October 29, 2022. He was born in Harnett County, on October 7, 1944 a son of the late Willie and Flossie Mae (Tilley) Smith. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings: Tommy Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, Jerry Smith and Connie Smith.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Phyllis Smith, his children: Jaimie Smith, Brian Smith (Maria), Jeffrey Morgan, Vincent Morgan (Stephanie), and April Cooper (Don); grandchildren: Jessica Wallace (William), Hannah Smith, Banks Smith, Melia Morgan, Mariah Morgan, and Jack Morgan; and great grandchild, Evie Wallace.

A time of visitation will be held from 12-1 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Knightdale Baptist Church, 15 Main St, Knightdale, NC 27545, where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Knightdale Baptist Church or Foundation of Hope.
