Obituary of Rosalie Dixon

Rosalie Christian Small Dixon, 85, of Wake Forest, passed away Wednesday morning, November 30, 2011 at Capital Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2011 at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-10:45 a.m, prior to the service.

Born July 7, 1926 in Essex County, NJ, Rosalie was the daughter of the late Thomas D. Christian and Willie Baker Christian. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Small; brothers, Erving, Willie, and David Christian; sisters, Mamie Christian and Florence Ward.

Rosalie is survived by her husband, Joseph Dixon; son, Robert Small; daughters, Roberta and Siobbon Small, Karen Allen; brothers, Eugene and Roosevelt Christian; nephews, Dwayne and Peter Ward, and Willocy Christian; nieces, Towana Ward, Gwendolyn Jones, and Cheryl Christian; and a host of grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
