Obituary of Rose Thompson

Rose Marie Thompson, 95, a lifetime Raleigh resident, died at Rex Hospital on Friday after a short illness. Our mother lived a wonderful life at home and was not sick but the last few days and now is in Heaven. She was loved by many but mostly by her daughter Jan Thompson, who lived at home with her mother. Her son Sammy Thompson, will miss her deeply. She was always the best mother ever and was always there for both of her children. She enjoyed reading the paper and watching TV, working with the flowers in her yard, shopping and trips to Myrtle Beach.

"We are truly sad but we know she is now at her other home. We will never let you go mother and you will always be with us" Sammy and Jan.

A graveside service will be held 12 noon on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10am-12pm on Tuesday at Montlawn Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.montlawn.com
