Obituary of Roy Harris

Roy Harris, Sr., 78, passed away peacefully Monday, September 13, 2010 surrounded by his loving family.

Family will receive friends between 2-3pm, Saturday, September 18th at Montlawn Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3pm in Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The Interment will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

Roy is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Gwendolyn; son, Roy Harris, Jr. of Clayton; daughter, June Wieland and husband Mark of New Britain, PA; grandchildren, Eric, Hayley and Kristin Wieland; brother, Danny Harris of Clinton, NC; sister, Julia Raynor and husband Bobby of Raleigh; sisters-in-law, Mae Lee Harris of Roseboro, Amilia Patterson and husband Jene of Dunn; brothers-in-law, GC Byrd and wife Peggy of Dunn, Loren Byrd of Dunn, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
