Royce Brown, age 92 passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Royce was born July 18, 1925 in Mamers, North Carolina. U.S. Army PFC Royce Brown - POW; WWII preceded in death by Jean DeBois his wife of 47 years lovingly known as "Jeanie Girl" and his son Donald Royce Brown. He was an active member of Caraleigh Baptist Church of Raleigh and the "Chatters Walking Club of Cary". Royce is survived by his children, Richard J. Brown of Raleigh, Jeanine Brown Pruitt of Holly Springs and Susan Brown Langdon of Fuquay Varina, NC. (7) Grandchildren and (5) Great Grandchildren. The Memorial Service will be held at Montlawn Funeral Home, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10:30am directly followed by a Graveside Service also at Montlawn.
