Obituary of Russelyn (Rusty) Walton
Russelyn (Rusty) Frances Hicks Walton, 66, died Thursday at Duke University Medical Center. She was a retired vital records clerk with the State of NC.
Russelyn loved the beach, riding in her convertible, watching movies and enjoying her adult beverages.
Surviving are her children, Tony Walton, Lari and Tim Digman, and Lisa Massie; grandchildren, Krystal Jones, Brandon Jones, Kirsten Jordan and Joshua Massie; sister, Jackie Jordan.
Funeral services will be held 3 pm Sunday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
The family request that casual / beach attire be worn to the service.
