Obituary of Ruth Mayfield

Ruth Inga Humphreys Mayfield, 80, of Wake Forest, died Wednesday evening, December 22, 2010.

Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 - 2 p.m. Wednesday.

A native of Crozet, Virginia, Ruth was born September 2, 1930, the daughter of the late Earl and Hannah Johansen Humphreys. She retired from the Arlington Trust Company. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Darrell Ware Mayfield; son, John B. Sensibaugh of Grand Prairie, TX, daughter, Deborah S. Flynn of Wake Forest, step-son, Roger Lee Mayfield of Largo, FL; sister, Earleen H. Procter of Raleigh; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
