Obituary of Sadie Brown

Sadie Paige Brown, 68, passed away peacefully at her home in Raleigh on Friday, March 26, 2010.

Viewing, 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at First Cosmopolitan Church, 1515 Crosslink Rd, Raleigh with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm.

Sadie was born on December 14, 1941 in Chadbourn, NC to Mrs. Georgia Sanders. She was educated in the Chadbourn Schools where she attended the West School. In 1959 she moved to Raleigh where she attended J. W. Ligon High School. Sadie was employed at Alcatel (formerly ITT) for 39 years until she became disabled.

Sadie leaves to mourn her husband Alphonza Brown; two children, Teresa Turner and Kimberly Brown both of Raleigh; mother, Georgia Sanders; one brother, Bobby Paige and wife Carolyn; a special sister-in-law, Lola Paige and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
