Symantia Blythe, affectionately known as Shaneil, died tragically at home in Raleigh, NC on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at the age of 34.

Shaneil is survived by her precious 10 year-old daughter Treasure, mother Novlet, father Kary, grandmother Monica, grandfather Neville, sister Michashay, uncles: John, Danue, Norton, Gary, Jerome, and Shawn; aunts: Angella, Nicola, Judith, Santena, Marcia, Nicole, Lorraine, Amasha and Stacy; cousins: Renee, Jodian, Sanhi, Onya, Shanice, Annakay Maxwell, Andrae, Tuwaunna, Natalee, Nazareth, Joshua, Sasha, Annakay Dawkins, Kevon, Dishon, Jaylen, Karl, Peta Gaye, Alex, Quino, Michael, Gary, Marquino, Monique, Shantelle, Shara, Geiovannie,  Sean, Dennis, Paulette, Patrice.

Shaneil spent her early years in her native country, Jamaica before immigrating to the United States. She was a proud mother and an extremely kind, helpful and compassionate daughter and grand-daughter. She had a quiet demeanor and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Shaneil's Visitation and Celebration of Life will take place on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel, 2911 S. Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park.
