Sharon Marie Pontius, 65, of Raleigh, NC, passed away at home on January 6, 2023. She was born on August 30, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan. She attended Pensacola Christian University in Pensacola, FL. She later met her husband, Brian Pontius in Johnston City, TN where they married November 11, 1980. They settled in Raleigh, NC in 1983, where they raised 3 girls, Sarah, Miranda and Wendy Pontius.

She joined her father and mother, Renard and Mary Cassar, in heaven. She is survived by her husband, Brian Pontius, 2 sisters, Stella(Roy) Isenberg and Rebecca(Glenn) Terry, 3 daughters Sarah(Kyle) Masterson, Miranda(Will) Bocchino and Wendy Pontius and 9 grandchildren, Jasmine Ball, Adrian Ball, Kaitlyn Pontius, Cody Masterson, Ryder Masterson, Bradley Bocchino, Trevor Bocchino, Olivia Bocchino, and Jeremy Bocchino.
