It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shelby Underwood, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who passed away on May 23, 2023. Born on December 18, 1936, Shelby lived a life full of warmth, love, and laughter. She was surrounded by her chilldren.

Shelby was a beacon of joy and positivity throughout her life, with a personality best described as always happy to see you. She possessed a genuine warmth and caring nature that touched the lives of everyone she met. Her radiant smile and unwavering optimism were contagious,
spreading happiness to those around her.

A celebration of Shelby's life will be held on June 3, 2023, at 12:30PM at Carolina Pines Baptist Church. Friends and family are invited to come together to remember the life and legacy of this amazing woman.

Shelby's greatest lessons to share were always smile and put family first no matter what. This philosophy defined her life and the way she raised her children. The legacy of teaching her children family first, alongside her guidance and love, will live on for generations to come.

Shelby's tenacity and commitment to her family and friends will never be forgotten. Her boundless love, adventurous spirit, and unwavering support enriched the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we cherish her memory, let us remember to keep the lessons
