Obituary of Sidney Hall, Jr.

Sidney "Sid" Joseph Hall, Jr. 62 of Benson passed away Monday morning, November 3, 2014 at his home.

Born December 15, 1951 in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of the late Sidney Joseph Hall, Sr. and Sybil Denton Hall.

Sid is survived by his wife, Mary "Ginny" Hilliard Hall; sons, Jared Aron Hall and his wife Alicia, Lon Evan Hall and his wife, Rachel; grandchildren, Corinne, Aidan, Daphne, Jared, Jr., and Lon, Jr.; sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Wing and her husband Kenneth; and many nieces and nephews.

Sid attended Holden Tech, now known as Wake Tech, and graduated with an Associates Degree in Business. Sid was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, working as a Sonar Tech, where he also earned his black belt in Shotokan in Okinawa, Japan. After serving his tour, he was a manager in Sales, eventually creating his own business in Insurance Sales. Sid was a fun loving jokester set in his ways. He was a loving father, grandfather, and loyal friend.
