Sophia Mears was born in Grandforks, North Dakota on March 21st,1962 to the late Frank Mears and to Janice Mears. Sophia departed this life on February 10th,2025. Sophia was named after Sophia Lorene because that was her father's favorites actress. Sophia was definitely her daddy,s little girl, and considered her mother not only as a mother, but as a best friend.

Sophia graduated from Cary High School in Cary NC in 1981. After High School Sophia went to work at Bristol Myers in Morrisville NC. After many years there she worked for multiple Pharmaceutical Companies such as Glaxo,Bayer,and Biogen.

Sophia enjoyed Arts,and Crafts,especially Crocheting. Michaels and Hobby Lobby were 2 of her favorite stores to shop.
