Stephen Ross Puryear, 51, of Raleigh, NC left his earthly home for his Heavenly home on Saturday, April 28, 2018 surrounded by his family.  He is survived by his loving wife, Shelley Bryant Puryear and their three sons, Stephen T., Joshua L. and Jordan B. Puryear.  Stephen was preceded in death by his daughter, Britny Jordan Puryear.

Stephen was the son of Lawrence O. Puryear and Katherine Coley Puryear of Raleigh, NC.  He is also survived by a brother, Jim L. Puryear and his wife Molly and daughter, Madison of Benson, NC.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 2 ^nd at 2:00 P.M. in the Montlawn Funeral Home chapel.  Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home and other times at Stephen and Shelley's home.
