Sue Smith Page went to be with the Lord on May 9, 2016 at Stewart Health Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was born October 2, 1914, in Cabin Creek, West Virginia, to the late Omie Frank and Idress Kee Smith.

Sue graduated from Roane County High School in 1932. After marrying Edgar Jerold Page, they travelled the years of the Great Depression mapping for the Federal Government. She was a homemaker and avid volunteer worker at Dorthea Dix Hospital Guild where she served for more than 20 years, and at her beloved Fairmount United Methodist Church.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 58 years, Edgar Jerold Page. Survivors include her son, Peter Smith Page and his wife Georgia Collins Page, grandchildren Edgar Bailey Pageand his wife Kristel Jenkins Page, and Emmett McBrannon Page and his wife Sarah Keener Page and four great grandchildren Callie Holland Page, Jackson Bailey Page, Abigail Morgan Page and Andrew Vernon Page.

A memorial service will be held at Stewart Health center , 806 Springmoor Drive Raleigh, NC. Burial will be in Spencer, West Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairmont United Methodist Church, 2501 Clark Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27607
