Suzy Marie Cocciolone, 50, a devoted and beloved wife and mother, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at her residence.

She was a Data Governance Manager with BASF. Suzy was a strong independent leader and was very well respected in the world of science. She also was a devoted Girl Scout leader. Suzy received her B.S. in Biology from Michigan Tech University and her PhD from the University of Missouri.

Surviving are her husband Timothy G. Cocciolone; sons, Austin J. Cocciolone and wife Courtney of St. Louis, MO and Addisen J. Cocciolone of Garner; daughters, Loren E and Dayna C. Cocciolone, both of Garner; brothers, Larry Anderson of Muscoda, WI and Ned Anderson of Roanoke, VA; sisters, Maria Oberneder of Beloit, WI and Nicole Clay of Williamsburg, VA.

A celebration of Suzy's life will be held at a later date and additional information can be obtained by calling her husband, Tim at 919-946-6689. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park #10, Raleigh, NC 27615.
