Obituary of T. J Demps

Thomas Jefferson "T.J." Demps, 72, of Fuquay-Varina, died Saturday evening, September 5, 2009 at his home.

Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

A native of Georgia, Mr. Demps was the owner and operator of Demps Grading Company.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Louise Baldwin Demps; daughters, Portia Hardy of Garner, Melinda Gibson of Texas, Ruby Haynes of Fuquay-Varina, Rhonda Wagner-Codrington of Charlotte; sons, Melvin Judd and Calvin Moody, both of Fuquay-Varina; sister, Missie Demps of Georgia; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
