RALEIGH

Therlon T. Thompson, 84, passed away on Monday, April 27th, 2020. He was born March 1st, 1936 in Whiteville, NC to the late TJ and Myrtle Sellers Thompson.
Survivors include his wife Mary L. Thompson of 61 years, his daughters, Beth Gower and husband Craig, Sandy Pearsall and husband Chris; son-in-law Brent Harrell, grandchildren Kaitlyn Harrell and Dalton Pearsall; brothers, Marvin Thompson and wife Vicky, Odell Thompson and wife Gay; brother-in-law, Seth Penny.
In addition to his parents, Therlon was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Harrell; sisters, Florene Lucas, and Nellie Penny.
Therlon was known as "T" to everyone that knew him. He enjoyed spending his spare time with his friends at the Garner Country Club, his loving family, and taking care of his yard work and his pond.
The family would like to thank Dr. James Parsons for everything he did for Therlon and our family over the years, especially during this difficult time.
There will be a private service with immediate family, we want to thank everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers.
