Obituary of Thomas Morey

Thomas Michael Morey, 65, died Friday evening at the William Dunlap Hospice Center. He was a retired US Army veteran with 21 years of service.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Wednesday at Montlawn Memorial Park with military honors.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis S. Morey; son, Thomas M. Morey, Jr. of Garner; daughters, Elizabeth Wilder and husband Steve of Garner and Billie Ann Straight and husband Jack of Glen Falls, NY, Shannon Spaulding of Ft. Edward, NY; stepdaughters, Jane Wood and husband Michael of Garner, Lynn Meece of Virginia; stepson, Sam Mitchiner and wife Penny; brothers, Roger Morey of Sabastopol, CA, Jay Morey of Seminole, FL, Jack Morey of Vacaville, CA and Jerry Bentley of Marsellus, NY; sister, Karen Bentley of Alta, CA; granddaughter, Alexandria Eaton of Garner and grandson, Elijah Straight of Glen Falls, NY; step granddaughters, Jessica and Tiffany Meece of Virginia,step-grandsons, Jason Murphy of Virginia, Bryan and Kevin Wood and Turner and Tyler Mitchiner of Garner.
