Obituary of Thomas Moulthrop
Thomas Taylor Moulthrop, Jr., 87, of Raleigh, passed away at home Tuesday afternoon, August 7, 2012.
Born September 6, 1924 in Norfolk, VA, Thomas was the son of the late Thomas Taylor Moulthrop, Sr. and Evie Peele Moulthrop. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers, Granville and Bob; daughter, Krishna; and grandson Robbie.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Hazel Moulthrop; daughter Sue Taylor (Johnny); sons, Mike Moulthrop (Cheryl), Tim Moulthrop (Peggy), Mike, Jr. (Jennifer); sister, Hannah; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces; and 1 nephew.
After 30 years with the United States Navy, Thomas retired as a Chief Hospital Corpsman. He loved his family and was a kind, generous, softhearted person.
