Surrounded by his wife and family, Timothy Pen Hill passed away on January 29, 2022.

Hill was born in Guilford County North Carolina on April 12, 1944.

He is survived by his wife, Luitgard Hill; brother, Kendall Hill (Shelby); step-daughters, Monika Murphy (Steve) and Andrea Sampson (Matthew); grandchildren, Sara Murphy, Ella Murphy, Jacob Paysse, Nathan Paysse, William Sampson and Claire Sampson; and nephew, Gray Hill.

Mr. Hill served in the United States Navy and in recent years worked with Verizon telecommunications.

Prior to his marriage to Luitgard, he had no children. To say he was a proud father and grandfather would be, by all counts, an understatement.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, February 8, for a 1:00 pm visitation at Montlawn.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Montlawn Funerals & Cremation, 2911 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC 27603.
