Tula Wall Garner, aged 93, passed away on November 19, 2025, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Tula was born on October 6, 1932, in Wake County, NC; she was the daughter of the late Luther and Estelle Underwood Wall.

Tula was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Sonny" Garner; her only son, Bart Garner; sister, Christine Coker; and brothers, Clarence Wall and Carlton Wall.

A devoted Christian and faithful member of Open Door Church in Raleigh, Tula retired from Nationwide Insurance after more than 40 years of dedicated service.

Known for her love of shopping and dining out, Tula was a social butterfly who never knew a stranger.

She treasured spending quality time with her family and friends, holding her church, family, and friend's dearest to her heart.

She is survived by her sisters, Jean Gresham and Joan Searcy (and husband Jack), along with a host of extended family and friends who will miss her deeply.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Montlawn Funeral Home with Eric Dillon officiating.

She will be laid to rest in Montlawn Memorial Park, immediately following services.
