Our Dad, Papaw, passed away peacefully at the age of 97. A World War II Veteran,  he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita, of 67 wonderful years. Survived by a sister, Maxine Mackey, 2 children John (Susan) Mason and Susan (Scott) Savage.  He was a loving grandfather to Kyle Mason, Whitley (Spencer) Pulley, Patrick Mason, and Alexis Savage.  A great-grandfather to Mason Pulley, Owen Mason, Ronin Savage, Wesson Pulley, and Landon Savage.  A service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Ephesus Baptist Church, 6767 Hillsborough Street, Raleigh, NC 27606.
