Vida Dew Ratliffe

Ms. Vida Dew Ratliffe, 85, of Raleigh, loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother died Tuesday afternoon, December 16, 2008 at Duke Raleigh Hospital.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. Friday December 19, 2008 with Funeral Service following at 11 a.m. at Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

A native of Wake County, Ms. Ratliffe was the daughter of the late Arthur Douglas Dew and Martha Mae Thomas Dew. She retired as a ward secretary from Rex Hospital.

Ms. Ratliffe is survived by her daughters, Joy Coleman and her husband Tom, Brenda Stanley and her husband H.C., Jr., Jimmie Ann Broschinski and her husband Karl, Sr.; son, Paul T. Ratliffe and his wife Nan; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Brother Larry Paul Ritchie of Florida and her Aunt Nellie Thomas Godwin and cousins of League City, Texas.
