Virginia Lee Howard, 87, of Raleigh passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018. She was born August 25, 1930 in Faison, NC to the late Loyd and Luberta Lee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alton Lee Howard, Jr.

Mrs. Howard was a member of First Baptist Church in Garner.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the Montlawn Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park.

She is survived by two sons, Chris Howard and wife Marcia and Tim Howard and wife Susan, five sisters, Lucille Franklin, Dixie Lee, Ruby Nunnery, Anne Robinson and Peggy Hairr and four grandchildren, Paxton Howard, Christian Howard, Rachel Howard and Ian Howard.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. at Montlawn Funeral Home in Raleigh.
